757 Makerspace Cadets (Teens): Deconstruction Day!

June 8 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Deconstruction Day, one of our favorite events of the year, where we take old electronics and tear them down. From hammers to delicate work and learn how they are made, put together and scavenge old parts to use for future project builds in our class.

No experience necessary. This session gets noisy, is a lot of fun and teens can take home items of special interest to them that they tore down.  Got some old electronics (small and large, no TV’s or disposable cameras) you can donate to the teardown, please let us know! Old printers are perfect for this, we can reuse the motors and some other parts easily!

Location: 757 Makerspace Dream Factory

Time: 1pm-2:30pm
Cost: $20 per teen/Free for member’s teen (supplies covered)
Suggested Age Range: 13+
Tickets Available Through Eventbrite (*even if you can attend for free we still ask you grab a ticket to help us prepare)

If you got friends and family with teens, please share this with them. Let’s make something AWESOME together!

Do you have a child who would love to take this kind of class? Check out the session before this one, which starts at 10am at this link –
