Please join us for lunch and learning during this 4 part series on Entrepreneurship. Experts in all fields of business start ups will share their experiences and provide invaluable tips for those wishing to start or grow their own business. There will be a short period before and after each lecture to mix and mingle with the other attendees. The cost of admission is $10 per session which includes lunch. Come to all four sessions or choose the ones that matter most to you. Either way, this is a series you don’t want to miss!
The series will consist of 4 Lunch and Learn events which will take place bi-weekly beginning April 3 and ending on May 15.
**Please note the “Purchase by” deadline at the end of each event description. Tickets must be purchased by those deadlines to ensure proper ordering of meals for attendees.
April 3rd – Michelle Pippin – Founder and CEO of Women Who Wow – Michelle will kick off our series on entrepreneurship with an overall discussion of what it means to be a woman entrepreneur and key tips and strategies of beginning and maintaining a successful business. Tickets must be purchased by March 28. This Session has been completed.
April 17th – Harry Brown -Attorney at Law – Harry will be presenting a basic discussion of different types of business entities, specific programs for women owned businesses, and tips on business and corporate legal considerations when starting a business. Tickets must be purchased by April 14.
May 1st – Georgie Marquez – Founder of Andre Marquez Architects, Inc. -Georgie will discuss her personal experience of starting a business -questions she didn’t know to ask, unexpected hurdles, and how she has promoted excellence and longevity with her business. Tickets must be purchased by April 25.
May 15th -Cathy Harris -CPA CCSP at Harbor Tax Group, Inc. -Cathy will discuss financial considerations involved with beginning/continuing a business such as financial planning and readiness, unexpected costs and payroll. Tickets must be purchased by May 9.
